The simulator is designed to study the practical use of satellite communications systems in accordance with standing procedures. The simulator includes trainee workstations equipped with interactive computer simulator and instructor workstation.

   Satellite communication simulator provides the following functionality:
      • exemplification of antenna system
         control program,
      • presetting the position of satellite dishes on the
         position of proper satellite,
      • running of automatic antenna positioning system,
      • configuration of the system for cooperation with
         the transceiver system,
      • configuration of the system for work with the LAN
         and satellite radio modem,
      • simulation of compass and GPS signal,
      • verification if the settings of simulated devices
         are correct,
      • sending an e-mail messages in all LAN relations,
      • assurance of the transmission of the data and
         voice between training positions,
      • an instructor workstation equipped with the
         training control application.
