Nowatel company delivered a set of 10 dispatch panels with 4 licences for the OpenRDS system and a radiocommunication module for the purposes of the National Emergency Medical Services in Gdańsk.
The dispatching system is aimed at facilitating communication between the crews of emergency medical service teams and medical dispatchers located in two concentrated dispatching rooms ultimately covering the area of the Pomeranian County.
The system installed for the purposes of the National Emergency Medical Services in Gdańsk comprises of ICOM company’s IDAS trunking system with network infrastructure based on IP, VPN protocol. It operates in the area of 3 counties: the city of Gdańsk, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki County and the city of Słupsk.
This is already the third implementation of Nowatel company’s OpenRDS dispatching system for emergency medical services (after RPR Sosnowiec and WSPR Białystok).
