ANPRC-112G radio simulator

The ANPRC-112G radio simulator is an IT system that allows a realistic training for radio operators (both radio operators and other people who must have such training) without the need to emit radio waves.

The simulated radio is a handheld UHF / VHF transceiver, designed for voice communication and data transmission in direct visibility technology with the LOS satellite. The radio operates in the following frequency ranges from 118.00 MHz to 125,000 MHz, 225,000 MHz to 320,000 MHz and the additional frequency range from 340,000 MHz to 390,000 MHz. The radio can also be used as a two-way radio for voice communication using direct vision satellite technology.

The main functions of the simulator:

  • The user can connect to other stations. Simplex communication.
  • Mapping of all the functionalities of the radio with the possibility of adding new ones.
  • Simulation of tests performed by the device.
  • Mapping of all the functionalities of the radio with the possibility of adding new ones.
  • Mapping the DME system (Distance Measuring Equipment) transmitters, that gives all the personal identification data and information about distance.
  • Progress evaluation and monitoring system integrated with the e-learning platform.
  • HOOK2 transponder mapping. Enables:

o providing GPS position and personal identification data,

o exchange of text messages in response to signals from the interrogator.
