The 'Łeba' simulator is a training tool designed to support tactical operations and crisis management in maritime areas. Its core component is an advanced scenario generator that dynamically simulates the movement of surface and aerial units, enabling the visualization of operational situations on a digital map of the Baltic Sea region.

The system has been prepared for integration with the NowaSIM platform, enabling operation within a networked environment involving training groups and instructors. The simulator allows for the execution of scenarios covering both military and non-military threats

Main functions of the simulator:
  • Dynamic representation of the tactical situation in the maritime domain
    • Definition and tracking of maritime and aerial units (course, speed, bearing)
    • Visualization of tactical data on a digital operations map Real-time situational display on an operational digital chart
  • Real-time simulation of naval and airborne radar systems
  • Simulation and visualization of command decisions and exercise participants’ actions
  • Automated dissemination of situational reports and audio/text messages across command posts
  • Supports scenario-driven simulations and dynamic, instructor-led exercises
  • Planning and creating material and time schedules for operational scenarios
  • Identification of training participants and allocation of roles and equipment
  • Determining the event location and coordinating logistics and communication resources
  • Integrating unpredictable environmental factors and dynamic mission changes into training simulations
  • Automated synthesis of region-specific environmental patterns
  • Emulation of real mission constraints such as signal loss and dynamic resource availability
