N 112G
N 112G
The N 112G radio simulator is engineered to deliver realistic, safe and flexible training for radio operators. It reproduces the operational behavior of the real radio station while eliminating the need to use active RF equipment during exercises. This enables instructors and training units to conduct repeatable, controlled scenarios for familiarization, qualification and mission rehearsal.
Key features
- power on/off simulation with satellite coverage modelling and internal self-tests;
- display of device states and persistence of parameters within a power-on session;
- volume control, channel selection and mode switching;
- manual entry of frequencies for selected channels and monitoring of chosen frequencies;
- transmission modes supported: BPSK, OOK, SARSAT, SATCOM;
- special modes: HOOK MODE (MKS 1200 bps), HOOK2, DME transponder emulation;
- send and receive encoded GPS positions with storage for up to 250 waypoints (magnetic/geographic optional);
- exchange of short text messages, emergency messages and identification signals;
- emergency radio identifier mode and transponder behavior emulation;
- workstation integration with softphone-type applications to simulate real radio operation;
- acoustic link creation between stations whose frequency and modulation match (simplex, active ONLY while PTT is pressed);
- dynamic audibility: changing modulation or frequency affects reachability, and pressing PTT disables receive audio.
Use cases and benefits
The N 112G simulator is ideal for military and civil training, search-and-rescue exercises, and interoperability testing. It enables realistic message handling including GPS position reports and distress messaging, while providing instructors with reproducible scenarios and detailed parameter control. The simulator supports operational readiness by allowing safe testing of procedures that would otherwise require live RF transmissions.
User interface and operation
- menu system that mirrors the real radio, enabling authentic operator interaction;
- manual waypoint management, situation reports and configurable message templates;
- visibility of battery status, satellite signal checks and internal diagnostics;
- parameter changes (frequency, modulation) immediately affect communication possibilities with other simulators;
- integration options for e-learning platforms and remote instructor control.
The product is supplied with full user documentation and optional deployment support. N-112G provides a realistic, repeatable and secure environment for training radio operators and validating procedures across a broad range of operational modes and scenarios.
