Operational modes and realistic behavior

RKP‑8100 supports MAN, ALE2G, ALE3G and RTM (remote control) modes. The simulator reproduces simplex communication: when two stations share matching parameters (frequency, modulation), an acoustic link is formed that is active ONLY while the PTT button is pressed. Pressing PTT simultaneously mutes the receive audio, accurately reflecting real radio operation and enabling training in transmission discipline, interruption and turn‑taking procedures.

Configuration, telemetry and instructor oversight

The interface supports configuration of RADIO parameters (POWER, SQLW, AGC, BAND, CHANNEL STATUS, PRE‑AMPLIFIER), REMOTE settings (BIT RATE, STOP BIT, PARITY, ECHO, CHAR LENGTH, MULTIDROP, NET IP), AUDIO options (AUDIO, DIGITAL VOICE), MODEM parameters (SET WORKING, DATA PRESET) and SERVICE entries (BATTERY, RADIO, CLEAR, VERSION). GPS data reading and precise time configuration are also available. Instructor stations display current settings — frequency, modulation and power — and provide status signals for PTT and SQUELCH/CARRIER for clear, centralized supervision of exercises.
