Satellite Communication Simulators
Nowatel satellite communication simulators provide hands-on SATCOM training in the operation of satellite communications terminals within a virtual training environment. Each station is equipped with an interactive terminal simulator and dedicated configuration applications. The environment also includes an instructor station and network infrastructure for device configuration, including a Cisco router.
Training scenarios run satellite communication between stations, taking into account network configuration, transmission parameters and simulated satellite-visibility conditions. When a link is active, an audio call can be established using a VoIP phone — so this SATCOM training simulator mirrors real terminal use end to end.
